Gg’s Story

My Grandma Garnet (GG) gave me my first cookbook when I was nine. From then on we always bonded in the kitchen, basking in the intoxicating aromas and flavors that only my Grandma could create. Everything she cooked was delicious but it was her secret toffee recipe that made her a star among our family and friends. She would whip up a batch of her rich, chocolate-covered toffee and give it out as gifts. One piece was never enough. My relatives would hide their share from other family members! It is that good!

While my Grandma Garnet is no longer with us, I have kept her legacy alive by sharing her secret toffee with the world. I launched GG’s Gourmet Toffee in 2009, making each batch by hand, just like my grandmother did. I’ve kept true to her original recipe, making sure to use only the finest ingredients as well as created new and mouthwatering recipes using her toffee recipe as the base. I know that GG’s Gourmet Toffee is something that my Grandma would have wanted to see everyone enjoy.
